I will be allowing free rockhounding (wood is the big game here & opal is the exception in/on it) as always where Im not mining. ie normal land use laws.

In Nevada you are required to file your paperwork at the county, but BLM is taking Intent to Hold fees without ever seeing if the paperwork was filed. Would this be logical? Would it not be required they check instead of sending the owners to lawfare in civil courts for them not doing their jobs and declaring the claims invalid?
